Marcalliance welcomes three member firms in seven new countries during General Meeting in Düsseldorf

Leading firms BLP Legal (Central America), Hamilton Locke (New Zealand) and LEXVALOR (Ecuador) were formally presented.

Marcalliance, the alliance of firms founded in 2013 by Mazars Tax & Legal and the French law firm CARLARA (Carbonnier, Lamaze, Rasle), has celebrated on the 19th April its Annual General Meeting.

The event gathered in Düsseldorf one hundred and four lawyers from the thirty member firms of Marcalliance present in twenty-nine countries who welcomed the new member firms incorporated since the past Annual Meeting: BLP Legal (Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua); Hamilton Locke NZ (New Zealand)  and Lexvalor (Ecuador).  

The participants had also the chance to attend a conference on Rethinking Organizational Structures of Law firms in the Age of IA and Digital Transformation by Iga Kurowska.

The General Meeting ratified its trust in the Board of Director’s management by approving the Activity Report presented. The mandate of the following administrators was renewed:

  • Urbano Vitalino Sociedade de Advogados (Brazil), former TMBJ Sociedade de Advogados, represented by Ricardo Thomazinho da Cunha.
  • Mazars Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH (Germany) represented by Jan Kochta.
  • Mazars Societé d’Avocats (France) represented by Jérôme Gertler.

The Board of Directors was confirmed under its current composition.
